Jade Plant - Crassula Ovata
Round, plump leaves which cluster on opposite sides of the stem. Appropriate feeding, exposure to light and watering can result in small pink or white star shaped flowers. As the succulent grows, it self prunes. When you see yellowed leaves, gently remove. Indoor plant with good access to direct sunlight. Displaying next to windows is the perfect spot. Water once a week by placing soil ball in a small reserve of water. Allow to sit and soak up the h2o. The roots of this plant have been trimmed, they will eventually out grow the ball. At this point I encourage you to re use the metallic thread. Try trimming the roots and re binding! Or just pop the plant in a pot or in the ground.
Kokedama is approximately 7cm-10cm in diameter.
